| VIEWING THE TRANSIT WITH A SOLAR FILTER |
In this posed image, we have Robert W. looking at the transit through
a 1000 Oaks filter. The backwards reflection is the ES Fox sign on the west wall of the observatory and Photoshop was
used to add an enlarged image of the Sun with Venus on it taken 8:38 pm DST. In fact there was a much smaller real solar image
but the edge of Robert’s right hand is covering it here.
